Corporate & Commercial Video Production

A commercial, product film or training video has a job beyond looking good. We develop the script, images and final versions around what viewers need to understand and where the work will appear, from connected TV to a product page.

Formats and deliverables

Corporate and commercial videos we produce.

Our commercial video production work combines live action, animation and 3D when the subject benefits from them. Distribution requirements inform the plan from the beginning.

Finishing work for agencies

Finishing a launch video for Facebook and Instagram.

In October 2020, a partner agency was completing a messaging launch video for Facebook and Instagram, made to run in social feeds. The agency led the concept and the production. SLIDEFACTORY joined its team for the final week, worked from the existing scene files and finished the motion work through the last round of feedback.

  • 3D phone animation. We reanimated the 3D phone scenes and updated the motion graphics from the agency’s feedback.
  • End tag. We rebuilt the closing end tag.
  • Square version. We adapted the video to a square format for social feeds, with a final adjustment after review.

Production steps

How a corporate video production runs.

  1. 01

    Pre-production

Develop or review the script, establish storyboards and shot lists, and agree on what each scene must communicate before equipment and locations are scheduled.

  2. 02

    Production

Capture the planned material with the crew, location and equipment arrangement defined for the project. We coordinate production around the approved creative and final deliverables.

  3. 03

    Post-production

Edit the footage and build the titles, motion graphics, sound, voiceover or 3D components required for the film.

  4. 04

    Versions and delivery

Prepare exports for connected TV, web, social and specific retailers, based on the placements agreed during scoping.

What gets handed over

What each video production delivers.

  • Approved storyboard

The visual sequence is reviewed before filming so the team and client are working toward the same film.

  • Titles and motion graphics

Graphics are designed around the footage and included as part of the edit where required.

  • 3D product imagery

When products are unfinished or impractical to photograph, 3D can provide views for the film and related creative assets.

  • Channel-specific versions

Final cuts and export formats are defined by the delivery requirements, including retailer variations and social aspect ratios.

Choosing the method

Live action, animation or AI-assisted video.

Corporate video production moves from a brief into an approved script and storyboard, a shoot plan, footage, an edit and the final channel-ready files. Motion graphics, voiceover, sound design and 3D can be part of that sequence. As a corporate video production company, SLIDEFACTORY coordinates the creative and technical pieces around the deliverables agreed in the scope.

Scoping the production

How to start a video production.

When choosing a commercial video production company, start with the intended placements and what each version needs to show. That determines the shoot, post-production and delivery scope. Length, shoot days, locations, talent, animation and the number of deliverables set the estimate, which we provide in writing after a scoping conversation, including when we produce for an agency partner.

FAQs

Questions about corporate video production.

How much does corporate video production cost?

Cost depends on runtime, shoot days, talent, locations, animation or 3D and the number of finished versions. We provide a written estimate after discussing the brief.

How long does a production take?

It depends on script and approval readiness, filming requirements and post-production. The Myaderm connected-TV spot took about eight weeks from the first production meeting to the final cut.

What should we provide to start?

A brief or existing script, product and brand references, intended distribution channels, any fixed launch date and the people who approve the creative.

Can you develop a script?

Yes. Pre-production can include scripting, storyboarding and shot planning. We can also begin from a script supplied by your team.

Can you produce a commercial for an agency client?

Yes. Myaderm came through an agency partner that supplied the script. We developed the production from that creative and delivered the finished spot and retailer variations. We have also joined a partner agency’s team to finish a launch video for Facebook and Instagram.

Where do you film?

The filming approach and locations are defined for each production. The Myaderm project used a distributed creative and production team in the United States.

How many formats will we receive?

The deliverables are determined during scoping. We specify the cuts, aspect ratios and files needed for agreed placements, including web, social, CTV and retailer versions.

Who owns the footage and final files?

Ownership and delivery of finished files and raw footage are specified in the production agreement.

When should we use AI-assisted video?

It fits repeatable training and frequent product updates. Live action is useful when the real people, places or physical product need to appear.

Can you add animation and 3D to a filmed commercial?

Yes. The Myaderm spot combined original footage, animated titles, motion graphics and 3D product artwork from unfinished product samples.
