Law Firm SEO and Website Design That Bring In Consultations
One team builds your practice-area pages and intake path, then runs the SEO, for law firms in Portland and nationally. Month-to-month, from $880.
Companies we've collaborated with
SEO for lawyers, by practice area
Built for the cases you want more of. What changes from one practice to the next:
Personal injury lawyer SEO
Personal injury law firm marketing starts with a page for each accident and injury type, and intake built for speed, because people hiring an injury lawyer often contact more than one firm.
Criminal defense and DUI attorney marketing
Calls come in urgent, after hours and from a phone. Tap-to-call, callback paths, and pages for each charge, including DUII.
Immigration attorney marketing
Pages by visa and case type, in English and Spanish where your clients search in Spanish.
Family law and divorce attorney marketing
Separate pages for divorce, custody and support, and a short, discreet consultation form.
Estate planning attorney marketing
Clients research before they call, so attorney bios, plain process pages and local trust signals do the work.
Business law firm SEO
Practice-depth pages and attorney credentials for owners comparing firms.
Law firm SEO case study: Vargas Law Office
Vargas Law Office is a bilingual English and Spanish practice in Milwaukee covering criminal, family, guardianship, business, personal injury and municipal law. We redesigned the site and run its SEO, and the Spanish side has practice-area pages of its own.
In Milwaukee, the firm ranks #1 when someone searches for a Spanish-speaking attorney, and first in the Google map when someone searches for a lawyer in Spanish.
A bilingual site that puts Vargas Law Office at the top of Milwaukee searches
We built the site in English and Spanish, with Spanish practice-area pages of their own, then ran the SEO for both. Here’s where the firm ranks for the searches its clients make (Google, as seen from Milwaukee, October 2026):
When someone in Milwaukee searches for a Spanish-speaking attorney
In the Google map when someone searches for a lawyer in Spanish (“abogado en milwaukee”)
When someone searches for lawyers in Milwaukee in Spanish (“abogados en milwaukee”)
When someone searches for a criminal defense lawyer in Spanish (“abogado criminalista milwaukee”)
Where law firm websites lose cases
Law firm sites tend to lose clients in one of four places.
No page for the case
People search for the problem they have. One Family Law page will not rank for both divorce and custody.
Missing from the map
The map results sit above the regular listings, and getting in depends on your Google Business Profile and reviews.
A form that asks too much
Long forms ask for the whole story before anyone has run a conflict check, and people leave.
The 9 pm inquiry
An inquiry that waits until morning can go to the firm that answered first.
Why firms switch to SLIDEFACTORY
Many law firm marketing agencies sell long contracts, keep control of the website they build, and quote prices only on a sales call. We work the other way.
Published prices
SEO from $880 a month, on this page, before you call.
Month-to-month
Most of our SEO engagements run month-to-month.
Your site, handed over
When you ask, we hand over the completed site and its code.
One team, two languages
The people who build the site run the SEO, in English and Spanish.
Marketing built around your bar’s advertising rules
Every state bar regulates lawyer advertising, and the rules cover what a marketing team writes every day: case results, client testimonials, words like “specialist” and “expert”, and how the firm’s name appears.
- Your attorneys approve every page and profile before it goes live.
- We keep a record of the claims your firm has cleared, so a case result is checked once and used the same way everywhere.
- Consultation forms ask for nothing confidential before a conflict check.
From search to signed case: intake and call tracking
Search work only pays off if the person who finds you can reach you, and you can see which searches brought in the call.
- Short consultation forms, with a note worded by your firm that submitting one does not create an attorney-client relationship.
- Tap-to-call on every mobile page, plus a callback request or your answering service after hours.
- Inquiries routed by practice area.
- Calls and form leads tracked to the page and search that produced them. Your intake records show which became signed cases.
Our Process
Every firm engagement follows the same six steps. SEO starts with an audit, from $880 a month. A website starts with a scoping call. We are founder-led, have worked with over 60 clients since 2018, and work with firms in Portland and nationally from our studio on SE Belmont.

Where to start
Start with a free audit, or with SEO at a published price. Websites are quoted after a scoping call, because a two-attorney practice and a multi-office firm are different builds.
Free SEO audit
A report on your site and how it shows up in search.
- Visibility and technical health
- Ranking opportunities
- Fixes listed in order of impact
- Sent by email
Basic SEO Engagement
Month one starts with an SEO and site audit.
- SEO and site audit in the first month

- A Google Business Profile for each office
- Month-to-month
Law firm website design
Designed and built around your practice areas.
- Practice-area and case-type page structure
- Attorney bio pages
- English and Spanish sites
- Consultation forms and call tracking

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does law firm SEO cost?
SEO engagements start at $880 a month, beginning with an SEO and site audit, and scope grows from what the audit finds. Contracts are month-to-month. Website builds are quoted per project after we talk through your practice areas, because a two-attorney estate planning practice and a multi-office personal injury firm need different sites.
Do you design law firm websites, or only do SEO?
Both, and usually together. We design and build law firm websites on WordPress or Webflow, with practice-area and case-type pages, attorney bios, consultation forms and call tracking, then run the SEO on the same site. If your current site can carry the SEO work, we start there instead.
What should attorney website design include?
A page for each practice area and each case type you want more of, attorney bio pages with bar admissions and practice areas, a short consultation form and tap-to-call on every page, and fast pages on a phone. Add Spanish practice-area pages if your clients search in Spanish, and WCAG conformance if your firm needs it. Your attorneys approve every page before it goes live.
Will our website follow the bar’s advertising rules?
Your attorneys approve every page and profile before it goes live, and we keep a record of the claims your firm has cleared so they are used the same way across the site. Oregon and Washington each regulate lawyer advertising through their Rules of Professional Conduct. Whether a specific line complies is your firm’s decision, and our process is set up to get that decision before anything publishes.
How long before a law firm sees results from SEO?
It depends on the practice area and the market. A family law firm in Gresham and a personal injury firm downtown are different jobs. Profile and listing fixes can show up in the map results sooner than new practice-area pages rank. After the audit we tell you which searches are realistic early and which take longer.
Can you track which calls and forms turn into signed cases?
We track calls and form leads from the site, each tagged with the page and the search that produced it. Whether a lead became a signed case lives in your intake records, so the two together show which pages bring in cases.
How should a law firm website be structured?
Around the searches you want to win. People search for the problem they have, so “divorce lawyer” and “child custody lawyer” need their own pages; one Family Law page will not rank for both. Build a page for each practice area you want more cases in, a page for each case type people search on its own, attorney bio pages with bar admissions and practice areas, and location pages only where you have an office or regularly take cases. Copies of one page with the city name swapped are what Google’s spam policies call doorway pages.
How do law firms get into the Google map results?
Mostly through the Google Business Profile and reviews, plus a consistent firm name, address and phone number across directories such as Avvo, Justia, FindLaw and Martindale. Set the primary category to the practice you want the most cases in, add the rest as secondary categories, and keep the profile name the same as your sign and letterhead. Adding keywords to the business name is against Google’s guidelines and gets profiles suspended.
What does local SEO for lawyers include?
Local SEO for lawyers covers the searches that show a map: your Google Business Profile, categories set to the cases you want, attorney profiles where Google allows them, reviews, and a consistent firm name, address and phone number across Avvo, Justia, FindLaw and Martindale. On the website it means a page for each office you work from, linked to that office’s profile.
Do we need a new website before starting SEO?
Not always. The audit shows whether the current site can carry the SEO work. If it can, we start with SEO and fix the site as we go. If the structure is the problem, for example one page covering every practice area, we will say so and quote the rebuild.
Do you work with law firms outside Portland?
Yes. We work with firms across the Portland metro and in Vancouver, Washington, and with firms nationally. The case study on this page is Vargas Law Office in Milwaukee. Local search work is specific to each city a firm serves, so we plan it market by market.
