Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a project cost?

Project work is priced after we understand the scope, because websites, apps and AI systems vary too much for a flat rate to be honest. You get a written estimate before any work starts. A few starting points have a set price, like the half-day AI Opportunity Session, and SEO programs start from $880/mo.

I'm not sure which service I need. Where do I start?

Start with a conversation. Tell us what you are trying to accomplish and we will tell you which kind of project it is. If the question is where AI could help, the AI Opportunity Session is a half-day working session built for that.

Can you take over a project someone else built?

Yes. We regularly pick up websites, apps and AI-generated codebases that another team started. We review what exists first and tell you what we would keep, fix or replace.

Do we own the work and the accounts?

The work we deliver and the accounts we set up are in your name. Third-party platforms and software licenses stay under their own terms.

Are contracts month to month?

Most of our contracts are month to month. Fixed-scope engagements have a defined deliverable and end when it is delivered.

How long does a project take?

It depends on scope. Focused websites typically ship in 4 to 6 weeks, proof-of-concept sprints run 2 to 4 weeks, and MVP builds usually take 6 to 10 weeks. Your written scope includes the timeline.

Do you work outside Portland?

Yes. Our studio is on SE Belmont in Portland, and we work with clients across Oregon and the rest of the United States, in person or remotely.
