Live action, animation and 3D in one Myaderm commercial.

Myaderm, a health and beauty brand, needed a connected TV commercial for a new skin hydration product before its packaging was final. A partner agency wrote the script and brought SLIDEFACTORY in as the video production company. For live-action brand, product and training video, see corporate video production.

  • Storyboards. We split the script into live-action scenes and close-up product shots to be rendered, and the agency and client approved the plan before filming.
  • Live action. We filmed the product in use with a distributed team working under pandemic safety measures.
  • 3D product artwork. We modeled the product from unfinished samples and rendered new shots as the label changed. The same model supplied stills for print.
  • Versions. Titles, motion graphics and the final edit, with versions of the spot for national retailers.

Animation services for products, processes and characters.

Our animation services include explainer video production, character movement, product shots and motion graphics, combined with live action or delivered on their own. A 3D product model can be rendered again for a new colorway, an exploded view or a different angle. Generative AI video

AI video production for training and product series.

A repeatable video series needs a visual system that holds up through the next product update. We set the script and approved styleframes first, then combine generative AI, voiceover, animation, motion graphics and editing. As an AI video production company, we also handle the editorial decisions and final finishing, and people review every episode before delivery.

Questions about video and animation production.

Animation or live action: which fits our project?

Live action works when people, places or an existing product should appear on camera. Animation is useful for explaining a process, showing internal product details or visualizing a product that is difficult to film. Myaderm combined live action, animation and 3D artwork in one campaign.

What does video production cost?

Video production cost changes with the format, length, production method, locations and number of final versions. We provide a written estimate after a scoping call. For context, the six-video BatchGeo AI-assisted series cost roughly a quarter to a third of a comparable live-action production of that scope.

How much does animation cost?

The length, visual style, number of characters or products, revision needs and whether the work is 2D or 3D all affect the estimate. We scope an explainer or animated series around the deliverables. For product models and dimensional animation, see 3D rendering and animation.

How long does video production take?

The Myaderm commercial took eight weeks from the first production meeting to the final cut. The BatchGeo six-video series took about two to three weeks, at roughly 1.5 person-days of skilled work per video. A production schedule follows the chosen method, approvals and number of versions.

Will AI video look AI-generated?

We define the script and visual style before generation, then handle voiceover, motion graphics, editing and review. A shared style system helps later videos match the first. Each finished video goes through editorial review.

Can you update a video after the product changes?

Yes. With an AI-assisted workflow, we can revise the affected script and regenerate the scene that changed. Other formats may require a new animation pass or edited footage. We design the production workflow around the updates you expect.

Can you produce training videos at volume?

Do you work with other agencies?

Yes. We work white-label and sign an agency NDA. Myaderm was produced for an agency partner using the agency’s script, with SLIDEFACTORY handling production and delivery.
