AI Training for Employees, Built Around Your Team's Work

Your team learns Claude or ChatGPT on the tasks they already do. Over five two-hour sessions, each person writes saved prompts and instructions, tests a workflow on real tasks and shows the result to a manager on Friday.

5 sessions · 2 hours a day · Up to 8 people · $9,500 per team

Overview

What AI training for employees should cover

AI upskilling should start with company accounts and written data rules, then move to practice on real tasks. In this private training week, each person goes from an example task to saved prompts, a working workflow and a live demonstration. The team also drafts an AI acceptable use policy for legal review.

  • Tools. Claude or ChatGPT, in your company’s own account.
  • Material. Your recurring work and documents with client details removed.
  • Policy. A draft for your lawyer to review before adoption.
The Week

How the AI training week runs, Monday to Friday

The week follows a five-day design sprint: Map, Sketch, Decide, Build and Test. Each two-hour session produces something staff can try between meetings. Their results shape the next day’s work.

  1. Monday

    Map the work

Set up the team’s accounts and agree written data rules. Each participant maps recurring tasks, chooses one and tries AI on it before the session ends. Everyone leaves with a task to test before Tuesday.

  2. Tuesday

    Sketch the approach

We show four example AI workflows. Each participant then drafts saved prompts and instructions for their own task, tests them with a partner and revises where the result is unclear or incomplete. Participants practice with those instructions before Wednesday.

  3. Wednesday

    Decide what to build

The team compares results and votes on the workflows worth keeping. The manager attends and chooses one workflow per role. Together we map its steps and settle the company rules for permitted tools, data access and human review before work leaves the organization.

  4. Thursday

    Build and check

Each role builds the selected workflow in the shared workspace, tests it against three real inputs and corrects the problems that appear. The team also reviews the draft AI use policy for questions that still need a management decision.

  5. Friday

    Test it on live work

Participants run their workflows on live tasks and demonstrate the results to the manager. Time, quality and fixes required are recorded. The manager decides which workflows to keep, which need revision and which would benefit from an integration build.

What Your Team Keeps

What your team keeps after the training week

The Friday scorecard records time per task, quality and corrections for each workflow on live work. At the 30-day check-in we compare the same tasks with that record and list what still needs attention.

  • Configured company workspace. Claude or ChatGPT set up in the business account your organization controls.
  • Saved instructions for each role. The prompts and context developed during the sessions, organized for recurring tasks.
  • One working workflow per role. Steps written down so the process can be repeated and improved.
  • Draft AI acceptable use policy. A document setting out proposed boundaries for tools, data and human review. Your lawyer reviews it before adoption; this is not legal advice.
  • Friday scorecard. Time per task, quality and corrections recorded during the live tests.
  • Keep, fix or build-next decision. A written record of what management chooses to continue.
  • Session recordings. Recordings of the five sessions for internal reference after the week.
  • 30-day check-in. A review that compares time spent on the selected tasks with the starting point and identifies what still needs attention.
Who It's For

AI training for teams in law, accounting, nonprofits and more

A lawyer assembling an email chronology has a different task from a marketing lead rewriting a campaign brief. Our corporate AI training uses the same weekly structure, with each role bringing its own documents and review requirements.

Before You Book

What to have ready before the training week

The week fits teams that already subscribe to Claude or ChatGPT, or plan to, and spend time writing, reading, summarizing or reporting. A manager needs to attend Wednesday and Friday to make the workflow and policy decisions.

Each participant should bring one recurring task and sample documents with client details removed. The company needs administrator access to the AI account where the group will work.

For a developer course, explore AI agent development. If you already know the workflow and want it built for you, start with AI integration services. The training week focuses on employee adoption and repeatable working practices.

Who Teaches

Who teaches the training week

Mark Nguyen, co-founder of SLIDEFACTORY, teaches the week. SLIDEFACTORY has built AI for clients since 2022. Our code-review agent, CodeRaven, reviewed 1,164 pull requests for $161.20 in model costs in its first five months. The training draws on that work of putting AI into daily workflows, while your team works inside its own company accounts.

FAQs

Questions about AI training for employees

What is the AI training cost for a team?

The private week is $9,500 for up to eight people. It includes five two-hour sessions and the materials described above. For larger groups, we quote a second week or facilitator.

Do we get an AI acceptable use policy?

You receive a draft AI acceptable use policy covering proposed tool use, data handling and review requirements. Your lawyer should review it before your organization adopts it. The training and draft are not legal advice or a certification of compliance.

Should our team learn Claude or ChatGPT?

We train teams in either product and have no reseller relationship with either provider. The sessions use your company’s own business account, so the choice can reflect your existing subscriptions and what your staff need to do.

How is company data handled during the training?

Data rules are agreed in writing before Monday. Practice examples have client details removed and work happens in accounts your company controls. We review your account’s data terms with you before the sessions begin.

Can you deliver the training in person?

Yes. Monday can be conducted on site across the Portland metro or virtually. Tuesday through Friday are normally virtual, with an option to arrange the full week in person. The training is for one company’s team.

Do employees need to know how to code?

No. The week is designed for people who write, read, organize, summarize and report as part of their daily work. Participants create repeatable instructions and workflows using the business AI tools they already have.

What if some staff already use AI every day?

Those employees can help establish shared instructions that other people can reuse. The exercises still focus on each person’s role and require everyone to test a workflow on real tasks before management decides what to keep.

Can you run the training in one day?

A one-day format is available on request, with a follow-up session a week later. The five-day format allows people to test their work between sessions, revise it and present a live result on Friday.

What happens after the week?

You keep the saved instructions, workflows, scorecard, policy draft and recordings. We conduct a 30-day check-in. Further team sessions or technical integration can be scoped separately, and the training fee can be credited toward a qualifying integration build signed within 60 days.

Why choose a workshop instead of a free online course?

This private workshop uses your recurring tasks, company accounts and managers’ review decisions. Each role finishes with a tested workflow and saved instructions; the team also receives a draft policy for legal review.

How do you measure the training?

The Friday scorecard records time per task, quality and corrections for each workflow. At the 30-day check-in we compare the same tasks with that record and tell you which workflows are still in use and what needs fixing.
