Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026

This policy explains what information SLIDEFACTORY collects through theslidefactory.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

SLIDEFACTORY is a digital agency at 4520 SE Belmont St, Suite 300, Portland, OR 97215. Questions about this policy: [email protected].

The short version

  • We collect what you type into our forms (for example your name, email and message) so we can reply to you.
  • If you request a free website report, we collect your email and website address to create and send it.
  • We use analytics and our own ad measurement tool to see how visitors find and use the site.
  • We use service providers to host the site, protect it from spam and send email. They handle your information on our behalf.
  • We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

Information you give us

Contact and inquiry forms. When you send us a message, we collect your name and email address, plus the other details the form asks for: company, phone number, website, the service or plan you are interested in, budget and your message. We also record the page you sent it from.

Free SEO or AI visibility report. When you request a report, we collect your email address and the website you want reviewed, and your agreement to receive the report and occasional emails from us. Reports are produced by a reporting service that SLIDEFACTORY operates.

Booking a call. After some form submissions we offer a link to book a time on our scheduling page, provided by Calendly. If you use it, your name and email are passed to Calendly so you don’t have to type them again, along with the offer you asked about. Calendly’s own privacy policy applies to the booking.

Email. If you email us or reply to one of our emails, we keep that correspondence.

Information collected automatically

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived (for example from a search engine or an ad). We also record when a form is submitted, with the page and form type but not what you typed.

Ad measurement. We run ads on Google. To see which ads lead to inquiries, our site uses an ad measurement tool that SLIDEFACTORY operates. It records page views, scrolling, clicks, clicks on phone links, time on page and form activity, together with a random visitor ID stored in your browser and, if you arrived from an ad, the ad click identifiers and search keyword. When you submit a form, it also records the email address and phone number you entered, so that an inquiry can be matched to the visit that led to it. When you arrive from one of our ads, it may also change a headline on the page to match what you searched for. This information stays with SLIDEFACTORY; it is not sent to Google or other advertisers.

Security and spam protection. The site runs behind Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block attacks. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile and other checks to tell people from bots. When you submit a form we store your IP address and browser user agent with the submission to detect spam and abuse.

Server logs. Like most websites, our server and our SEO plugin keep technical logs, such as requested pages, error pages, referring pages and browser type.

Embedded videos and maps. Some pages include videos hosted on YouTube, and pages that show our studio location include an embedded Google Map. When a YouTube player or a map loads, Google may set cookies and collect information under its own policy.
